Este domingo 14 de septiembre se realizó la 77.ª edición de los premios Emmy, con varias sorpresas. “The Studio”, una sátira sobre Hollywood emitida por Apple TV+, fue la serie más premiada del año, con 13 galardones, incluyendo mejor serie de comedia. Su creador, Seth Rogen, recibió tres de ellos, como mejor actor principal en una serie de comedia, mejor director, compartido con Evan Goldberg, y mejor coguionista.
Luego de “The Studio”, los siguientes programas con más triunfos en los Emmy fueron: “Adolescence” (Netflix), “Severance” (Apple TV+” y “SNL50: The Anniversary Special” (NBC), que empataron con ocho premios cada una.
No obstante, “The Pitt”, de HBO, sorprendió al alzarse con el Emmy a mejor serie dramática, por encima de la favorita “Severance”, que llegó a la gala con 27 nominaciones, más que ningún otro programa. “The Pitt” obtuvo en total cinco premios Emmy.
